In my own personal experience as a small business owner, and blogger, I would ask myself the following questions before I would publish anything that would reflect on me or my business.
1. Would I want a customer/ potential employer to read this?
2. Am I representing myself/my business in a positive light?
3. Could anything I'm posting be taken out of context and potentially offend my readers?
4. Is what I am posting relevant to the subject matter of the blog?
5. Visually is there any content that may be considered inappropriate or unprofessional?

You mentioned that blogging is important for networking. That points out why having these guidelines is essential. Any company that forsakes these policies could have big problems. The more extensive the blogging policy the better. Poor guidelines could lead to a company not being represented in a positive manner. Which, in turn, hurt their business.
ReplyDeletePolicies are very important to every company. I strong agree with you.Telling the truth are the most important thing in a professional blog.Cheating is not ethical.we should be careful when we talk about one thing. That will maintain the relationship between you and customers very well.
